This photo of Arthur David Brake, who died well before I was born, is the only photo I have ever seen of my Grandfather. It was given to me in August 2005 by Marie, widow of Uncle Frank Brake and the last survivor of Arthur and Lucy's children and their spouses. When and where the photo was taken is unknown, but the wall in the background is similar to the family home, and he appears (to me) to be in his thirties which would date the photo to the 1910s.
